SNAKE RIVER LANDING TO HOST U.S. NAVY'SBLUE ANGELS FOR COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
The Extreme Blue Thunder Air Show has partnered with Snake River Landing to host a free community celebration on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. The event will feature live music, games and contests, as well as a special appearance by the pilots and crew of the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels. During the celebration, the public will have a unique opportunity to meet the pilots and crew members in person and hear about their experiences as naval aviators. Flight simulators and the Navy's six-member rock band "Freedom" will also be on hand to entertain the crowd. The celebration will take place in Snake River Landing near Bella Vita Coffeehouse and The Pier. The Blue Angels are the U.S. Navy's precision flying team and will headline the Idaho Falls Air Show alongside other world-class aerial performers. The show is scheduled for July 24 and 25, 2010, at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport. Tickets for the air show are $15 in advance for adults and $20 at the gate; $10 in advance for children ages 6-10 and $15 at the gate; free for children 5 and under; and free for active military with military ID.
